New-entry. Ilan Eshkeri's 2007 score has never before made it into the chart
The 2007 film Stardust is based on a book by Neil Gaiman and tells the fantastical story of a young man who promises to find a fallen star for the woman he loves.
But he's not the only one hunting for this star — who turns out to be a woman called Yvaine.
Ilan Eshkeri's epic music creates a shimmering soundscape for this magical story and recalls John Williams' music for the Harry Potter films. But you might also be able to hear the influence of Bach, Dvořák and Offenbach, three composers Eshkeri quotes in the soundtrack.
