New-entry for Mark Knopfler's 1983 soundtrack

This cult classic, directed by Bill Forsyth, follows an American oil company exec who is sent to Scotland to buy a village so that the company can set up a refinery there.

The music was written by the British singer-songwriter and guitarist Mark Knopfler (best known as the lead guitarist from Dire Straits) and was nominated for a Bafta.

One critic called Knopfler's music "the perfect complement to the wistful tone of Bill Forsyth's flim".
