Rip-roaring, swashbuckling fun from the father of the modern movie soundtrack, Erich Korngold, The Adventures of Robin Hood moves up 16 places in the 2014 Movie Music Hall of Fame.

Swashbuckling magic from the Czech-born composer whom Mahler and Richard Strauss hailed as a child genius. Errol Flynn, Olivia de Havilland, Basil Rathbone, and Claude Rains all starred in this 1938 adventure movie. The film broke new ground, being the first colour film for Warner Bros. Erich Wolfgang Korngold would win an Oscar for the film's music, which included the very popular love theme of Robin and Marian.
