Seven Years in Tibet
John Williams

Seven Years in Tibet drops 14 places — and out of the top 50 — in the 2014 Classic FM Movie Music Hall of Fame.

John Williams took a break from bombast for this more languid, sensitive work — every bit as impressionistic and beautiful as the movie itself. Brad Pitt played the controversial Austrian mountaineer Heinrich Harrier who taught the young Dalai Lama. The evocative score also features the popular and highly talented cellist Yo Yo Ma.
