The Shawshank Redemption
Thomas Newman's score for the much-loved prison escape drama falls four places in the 2014 Classic FM Hall of Fame.
Nominated for an Academy Award in 2004, Newman's score reflects the emotional intensity of the film. A particular highlight of the movie was the beautiful 'Sull Aria' from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's opera 'Le Nozze di Figaro', which was broadcast live to the prisoners.
