One of Ron Goodwin's most rousing scores soundtracks the drama of an RAF squadron's attempt to knock out a Nazi fuel factory, but it has fallen three places since 2013.
633 Squadron is a classic World War II film from 1964, directed by Walter Grauman. Goodwin's theme has become an incredibly popular piece for brass bands across the UK and remains one of British cinema's catchiest themes. This is gung-ho heroism and wartime bravery, set to a rhythm that echoes the squadron number.
