Somehow marshalling all these different composers' efforts into one soundtrack, the result was one of the most unifying and iconic soundtracks of the decade. With a beefed-up cello section in tow, the sound is full of tension and foreboding, perfect for Christopher Nolan's dark, new vision of the most iconic of superheroes.
