The Artist
Ludovic Bource

French composer Ludovic Bource is a long-term collaborator of director Michel Hazanavicius.

Inspired by heavyweights such as Prokofiev, Debussy and Ravel, he originally worked with Hazanavicius on a number of television commercials. After producing a series of hip-hop and pop albums, Bource was reunited with Hazanavicius for the 2006 spy comedy OSS 117: Le Caire Nid d'Espions and its 2009 sequel Rio Ne Repond Plus. The soundtrack to The Artist was recorded with the Flanders Philharmonic Orchestra and plays a central part in driving the film's narrative.
